Krohngold has gained prominence in the Atlanta community as the founder and co-owner of Atlanta’s longest running nightclub, Tongue & Groove. == Personal life== Krohngold was born May 13, 1960 in Sarasota, Florida to Jewish parents Lenore and Malcolm Krohngold. Growing up, he earned his Eagle Scout rank with Boy Scout Troop 90 of Sunnyland Council and was selected to attend the World Boy Scout Jamboree in Lillehammer, Norway. In 1978, he graduated from Riverview High School and attended Tulane University for his freshmen year before moving to Atlanta. There, he attended the Art Institute of Atlanta to study photography and graduated from Georgia Tech in 1982 with a B.S. in industrial management. He married artist, Patricia Diane Morgan in 1989 and welcomed a son, Morgan James Krohngold, in 1994. The couple divorced in 2010. Krohngold currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys photography, taking Fast Twitch fitness classes, driving the track at Atlanta Motorsports Park, snow skiing, and traveling.
